Key factors influencing steel pallet prices include material, size and         structure, load-bearing capacity, surface treatment, quantity purchased, and         customization requirements.

1. Material Selection:

Steel pallets primarily use Q235 carbon steel, with stainless steel or         galvanized steel used in some high-end applications.

Ordinary carbon steel: Low cost, basic price, but prone to rust;

Galvanized steel: Strong rust resistance, suitable for humid environments,         price 15%-30% higher;

Stainless steel: Corrosion resistant, high cleanliness, suitable for the food         and pharmaceutical industries, unit price can be more than twice that of         ordinary steel pallets.

2. Size and Structural Design:

Larger sizes requires more material and thus higher prices. Common standard         sizes include 1200×1000mm and 1100×1100mm.

Three-legged type: Suitable for four-way forklift operation, stable         structure;

Front-legged type: More even load distribution, but slightly heavier;

Nine-legged type: Suitable for stacking, but mostly used for plastic pallets,         less common in steel.

3. Load-bearing capacity:

Load-bearing requirements directly affect steel plate thickness and         reinforcing rib design:

Light-duty pallets (≤1 ton): Suitable for general warehousing, lower         price;

Medium-heavy-duty pallets (1-3 tons): Used for rack storage, structurally         reinforced, higher price;

Extra-heavy-duty pallets (≥3 tons): Used for transporting heavy machinery and         chemical equipment, significantly increased cost.

4. Surface treatment:

Powder coating: Aesthetically pleasing, moderate rust resistance, moderate         cost;

Hot-dip galvanizing: Excellent rust resistance, long lifespan, suitable for         outdoor or high-humidity environments, cost increases by approximately         20%-40%.

5. Purchase quantity and customization:

Bulk purchase: Larger quantities result in lower unit costs; manufacturers         typically ship by the truckload to save on logistics costs;

Non-standard customization: Special sizes, added wheels, anti-slip mats, RFID         chips, and other personalized requirements may double the price.

6. Additional Functions and Certification Requirements:

Pallets for export requires ISO/EPAL certification, with an additional         one-time certification fee of approximately 2000-5000 RMB; Pallets for automated         storage and retrieval systems have higher requirements for deformation control,         stricter production processes, and are more expensive.
